On November 12, 2019, Disney+ was launched in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands, and a week later, it was expanded to Australia, New Zealand, and Puerto Rico. In March 2020, it was made available in a few European countries, and in April, it was made available in India via Star India’s Hotstar streaming service, which was rebranded as Disney+ Hotstar. In September 2020, the service will be extended to more European countries, and in November 2020, it will be extended to Latin America. South Africa joined the service in May 2022, followed by MENA and Eastern Europe in June 2022, and Southeast Asian countries at the end of the year.

“It works great if you have a strong connection, quick upload and download speeds, wifi (recommended), and you never leave your position where your phone might switch off 4/5G for even a little while. Overall, it has a good assortment of movies and television shows….when you can find them. I guess I’ve waited anywhere from 10 to 12 minutes simply to get a signal that would allow me to watch 10-15 seconds of a movie. This should not be happening in the heart of a metropolis. – Rinny.P”
